Whole-home mobility
EBO SE 2 moves freely across your floors. It clears obstacles up to 6mm—thin rugs, charging cables, the kind of stuff that trips up cheaper robots. Ground clearance is 9cm, which means it slides under low furniture like sofas and beds without getting stuck. You control it through the app, wherever you are.
Remote pet interaction
This is the part pet owners tend to care about most. EBO SE 2 has a built-in laser and supports an optional DIY feather attachment. You can drive it around the living room and let your cat or dog chase it—even when you're stuck at the office or traveling. Two-way audio lets you talk to them through the robot. It's not the same as being there, but for a pet with separation anxiety, it's closer than a static camera.
2K live view and recording
The camera is 2K (2304×1296) with a 137° field of view. That's a real step up from the 1080P on the original EBO SE. It supports 24/7 recording and sends motion alerts to your phone. Night vision works in low light, so you can check in after dark. Storage goes up to 256GB via SD card—though the card itself isn't included, so budget for one.
Auto recharge with route memory
When the battery runs low, EBO SE 2 returns to its dock using route memory plus infrared docking. Battery life is 4–7 hours depending on usage, and charging takes 2–3 hours. The upgrade from EBO SE matters here: the older model only used infrared docking, which is less reliable if the robot has drifted off course.
Expressive animated eyes
The eye display shows animated expressions rather than a simple status light. You can choose between Sunshine Eyes (blue or yellow) and Starlight Eyes at checkout. It's a small thing, but it makes the robot feel less like a gadget and more like something with a personality—which matters if you're buying it as a gift.
